Of War …. Another Fine Myth

 

 

Well……. as some of you may know we find ourselves at odds with
Myth now how did this come about?  Was it like this?

Well, to be truthful no it didn’t. What did happen, was I got to talking to a "BK" and got along with her quite nicely. Seeing as at this point in time i had now met about 5 of them and found them all to be outstandingly nice people I struck up an alliance with them. Shortly after I found our old guild "Myth" had declared war on them, and they were calling on all allies to help.

Being very new to this whole guild leader thing I figured this was the best opportunity I would get to see how this whole war thing worked. Also Myself and my two partners had left Myth as we didn’t agree with what they were doing or how they were doing it. Now the war was in half an hour and I was the only guildy online. As I got myself geared up and ready to roll, our first new guildmate "who shall remain nameless"(she knows who she is) Logs in and asks me what I am up to. When I tell her she decides to come along, I warn her that we are all going to die we all know we are going to die, undeterred she follows me in.

We all bunch up smaller boats sheltered behind the bigger boats, while manouvering there are some taunts flying back and forth. Being somewhat preoccupied in studying the layout of the war area I missed most of it taking note only when Tsunami (leader of de gama’s Myth) says "I see bodies DEAD bodies!" At which point my charming young noob responds with…….

"I smell…… (censored) holes!!!!" then follows it up quickly with "Stop talking like a KLINGON and get on with it!!!!"

 Now you all know how the war ended, some of you have seen the video. For those of you who haven’t….

Myth Bk war 

 Within 5 min of the war, Myth declared hostilities on us and i had an encounter with tsunami, after a brief but charming conversation it was clear peace was not possible. Being a level 1 guild pitted against a level 10 guild with maxed military, I took the only route open to me which was to make as much fun of them as possible.

Which I continue to do.

Welcome!

I had been playing Runescape for 4 years, and well quite frankly that is a long time. Having decided I needed a bit of a vacation 6 other friends from the game had gone over to this Voyage Century game…. hmm boats…….. not really my thing. But well it is something different and my buddies are there. Now here I am 4 months later, my runescape account unpaid and ignored, still having a wonderful time frolicing about in my ships.

Now about a week ago, I was talked into starting a guild with my two new buddies, and a most unlikely trio we are. Warmonger my vice is Catholic, I "Synner" am Wiccan (we are supposed to be natural enemies), and Danc refers to himself as a "Misfit". So without further ado Welcome to the blog of our adventures or "Misadventures."  And welcome to the tale of the guild brought to you by *The Catholic, The Witch, and the Misfit.

First things first, we have managed to pick up a few guild members some by accident, some by invite and a few who stumbled into us by accident. However we need a few more…..hmmm…….. recruitment campaign time. (and why isn’t there a spell check in here?) Taking a look around all other guilds recruiting were setting up vending booths and standing for hours on end, mmm …. no I don’t want to do that I think we will try something a little different.
